So, for my Fashion Advertising class, I was asked to do a mini photoshoot for my mid-term assignment. This is a group project and my group and I had decided to do a summer themed photoshoot.

We basically played the stylist role here and these are a few shots of the looks that we put together.

About Me

Heylo Sexy, Lovely Readers! I know I haven't introduced myself properly and you are all probably thinking 'who's this girl trying desperately to get us interested?' So here it goes!- 

My name is Karen Audrey, some of my bestest friends called me Kay and others will just go with Karen *yawn*. I'm a seventeen years old June baby and no other than a GEMINI teenager. 

That's Baby Karen! I have no idea where it was taken cause I was just a baby you know ;)

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia but my family and I moved to Borneo island when I was just 10. It's a pretty big difference from living in a metropolitan city to a small one. 'Kuching', the city in Borneo island, is the opposite of Jakarta. It's super duper quite, traffic free and clean which is just great. It's kinda nice to escape from the daily traffic in my hometown.

Now that I have finished high school, I decided to move back to Jakarta to reunite with my lovely family and to start my college life at 'Raffles Design Institute of Higher Education', which you would already know if you had read my last post! :D It's nice to finally come home. I lived in an apartment back in Kuching as well as in Jakarta and thank God for high floors! I got the oh-so-mazing view of the city especially at night when it sparkles up.

I spend a lot of my time watching movies and tv series which is kinda a habit now. I really love to sing and dance and be very high and hyper. Don't get me wrong, I can still be pretty sane and 'normal'. I of course love anything to do with FASHION, except maybe getting totally broke from shopping too much! I love parties and I also love love love SPORT. I love everything about it. Running, swimming, wall climbing, and a lot more. I have always wanted to learn how to play golf, but never happened. I have tried to 'drive' during a party and believe me it's so much harder than I thought, and very very tiring.

So here is a picture of my face.. 

I took this picture just cause I really wanted to go to the beach!

New Chapter of My Life

In life, people come and go, time pass by and there will always be a time when you have to move on. Only yesterday I felt like I'm still a kid with no pressure for the future.

Well.. It's finally the day. The day that I thought will come a little bit later. COLLEGE!!! That's right. Today is my first day of college at 'Raffles Design institute of Higher Education' (fashion student here) and it was different than I imagined it would be. Small classes meaning few students. I imagined college to be more hectic and crazy. Maybe because it's the first day. The school for sure don't wanna scare the students away.

The lesson for today is COLOUR THEORY. It's interesting because now I can see the world in a 'whole new level'. More vibrant and colourful.  

*Throwback Moment to a month ago...

I went to their open house and I was asked to make a mood board. This is my first time doing it and it was kinda fun. Just flipping through magazines, see what you like, cut it and paste them like scrapbooking. It's basically my hobby minus the cutting and pasting. 

So here it is!

 

This is more of an 'outfit of the night' look. Sequins, heels and bold vibrant colours. Always remember to wear skin coloured pointed heels to make your legs appear longer.

Afternoon casuals! Blouses, shorts and ballet flats, and of course lip stains. Trust me, those are life savers!
Keep your lips moisturised like a lip balm yet also adds pretty colour to your lips!

Full preview of my very first moodboard. Not the best but it will get better with time. And by that I seriously mean I need more time to make the mood board ;)
